Are you currently a Parts Advisor working within an automotive or manufacturing organisation bored of working within a slow pace environment?

Do you have knowledge of using SAP and MRP / ERP Systems?

Our client is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist vehicles looking for an Export Sales Advisor to join the team.
The purpose of the role will be to provide daily support, interfacing with customers and handling service requests within a timely manner.

Overall Purpose of the position:

Provide export parts customers with the highest level of care and service. Take responsibility for customer base as allocated to. Promote and secure profitable sales of parts using marketing initiatives. Encourage Distributors to hold and manage local stocks to enable them to provide a faster supply of key parts to end users. Achieve internal Export Parts Sales budget. Monitor VOR and backorder situations to reduce the impact to the Distributor/Customer.

Main Duties of the Export Sales Advisor:

Provide export customers a helpful, quick and efficient parts service.
Ensure customers are kept informed on the status of their orders, particularly when problems occur and when an order is sensitive or urgent.
Provide an accurate order receipt and processing service to export customers.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with export customers
Respond positively to customers' requests for help
Seek new sales opportunities to grow parts sales.
Use marketing initiatives to increase sales.
Visit Export Distributors to give 'on site' assistance and build relationships.
Reporting to the Export Parts Sales Supervisor ensure export back orders and VOR are resolved promptly.
Provide a parts interpretation and identification service to export customers.
Provide export customers with accurate and timely advice on parts availability.
Ensure that orders are executed in accordance with the customers' requirements.
Respond positively to customers' requests for help.
Gain authorisation for the proposed discount arrangements from management, ensuring such proposals do not jeopardise target margin levels.
Seek and report market intelligence to Management.
Propose process changes that will enhance export market parts performance.
Regularly review administration processes and suggest and implement improvements.
Actively participate in meetings, and 'step up' in the absence of the Export Supervisor.
Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the company.
Support colleagues and team members as necessary and ensure holiday, lunch hour and out of office hours cover is provided.
Work beyond normal office hours when necessary to achieve deadlines.
Complete the necessary Export/Import documentation to meet Customs regulations.
Carry out monthly Customer Reviews with the Export Parts Sales Supervisor to identify opportunity or threat to parts sales.

Customer satisfaction levels & relationship management e.g. personal feedback, etc.
Parts sales against Export Parts Sales Budget
Increased profit levels generated in the export market year on year.
Export market incremental sales from marketing initiatives.
Response times for export market customers' queries and requests for assistance, including complaint resolution.
Export market parts margins.
Contributing to the development of new ideas and strategy (continuous improvement).
VOR and Backorder reduction
Duties accurately completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Generation, accuracy and timeliness of reports.
Good standards of housekeeping.
Maintain responsibility for a Personal Development Plan and attend internal and external training events as appropriate.
Effective use of the lost sales recording system.

The Package:

£23,504.42 PA + 5 % Annual bonus (£1175.00)
Overtime Rates after 39 hours, time and 3rd for the first 2 hours, time and half thereafter and weekends
