Well-established and successful FMCG business based in Wakefield.

Due to retirement of the current Executive Assistant the business is looking to appoint a high caliber Office Manager/Executive Assistant to work with the Leadership Team (Board Directors) and other management levels.

As the Executive Assistant to the business you will:

• Be responsible for the CEO, Director and Sales diary management

• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the office function and switchboard

• Making travel and accommodation arrangements for Directors and Managers to Europe and the Far East

• To administer pension, private medical and insurance business requirements

• To manage and administer HR issues with our HR provider

• Manage the post and courier requirements as necessary

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of:

• Shorthand minute taking preferable but not essential and issuing accurate records and actions resulting from Board and high-level meetings

• Maintaining personnel records with a high degree of confidentiality

• Adapting to and helping to manage change in a demanding and dynamic business

• Working within a budget for office consumables

The Board will want to see evidence of the following personal qualities:

• Experience of operating at Board level in a similar role/business

• An enthusiastic, self-starter with a can-do attitude and flexible approach

• An organised operator who shows exceptional communication skills yet displays confidentiality always

• IT literacy in Microsoft Office
