We are the UK’s nursing and midwifery regulator. We exist to protect the health and wellbeing of the public by setting standards for education, maintaining a register of nurses and midwives and investigating individuals whose fitness to practise is called into question.

We make sure that nurses and midwives keep their skills and knowledge up to date and uphold our professional standards. We have clear and transparent processes to investigate nurses and midwives who fall short of our standards. We maintain a register of nurses and midwives allowed to practise in the UK.

About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the team of Assistant Directors in the Resources Directorate. It is an exciting time to join our Directorate as we have recently merged with the Technology and Business Innovation Directorate to create a multi-functional service for all of our corporate functions. You will be supporting all business areas including Procurement, Finance, and Technology. As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high quality executive support to the team, and will focus on enabling the effective delivery of business and projects within the directorate. This is a wide-ranging role that will see you involved in a whole variety of activities from managing a busy diary to providing high-quality administrative support, through to acting as the first point of contact for the directorate’s stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a similar post would be ideal.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT Skills
  • Efficient at managing a number of diaries
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service skills
