Exceptional Change Manager - High Tech FTSE 250 - IT Transformation Programme

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior change manager/specialist with exceptional communications skills.

We need to find someone to provide proactive support to the Business Architecture and Process and Programme Management Office teams of a $100 million IT Transformation Programme, currently interfacing with a raft of Big 4 consultants. As you will be working within a progressive company at the forefront of maritime, aviation, government and enterprise communications operating in over 80 countries with more than 40 offices worldwide, an aptitude for high technology is essential.

Working in conjunction with a charismatic Programme Director, you will have input into a number of technical projects to identify and manage the change aspect of each, as well as implement practical steps to ensure "best practice" and true change is enacted. In doing so, you will create thorough Change Impact Assessments, help Project Managers/delivery leads develop awareness of what the curve of change means, thereby maximising its impact… be it through communication policy shifts, bite-size learning initiatives, redefinition of critical stakeholder interactions etc. You’ll also get involved on a practical level, particularly when it comes to C-level presentations, difficult discussions/ removal of obstacles (eg persuading key business sponsors to lead by example)/writing communications.

Character is all. We need a strong, passionate, energetic individual, who isn’t desk-bound, with exceptional juggling, analysis, inter-personal and documentation skills to work in a fluid and challenging environment. Ideally, you’ll have a depth of knowledge of change methodologies and be familiar with "Big 4" consulting practices in the change arena.

Essential

  • Demonstrable track record of delivering and leading on change/communications initiatives in a matrix environment working with virtual teams.
  • Ability to lead best practice in this area.
  • At least 3 years’ change experience in a high calibre, international environment.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience of user experience led change / ServiceNow implementations would be helpful.
