Our Client is one of the UK's rapidly growing Civil Engineering Companies. Due to an increase in the utility division, they are looking for an Estimator with overall good commercial skills to strengthen their team.

Key Essentials:

* Working as part of the Estimating team; you will be required to tender on utility projects with values ranging from £250k - £5M

* Your role will involve organising appropriate tender enquiries from key clients in the industry

* You will be responsible for administrating correspondence and tender documents

* When preparing tenders you will be responsible for all build ups and take off's taking into consideration of all plant, transport and labour, outputs and programme of works

* You should have a good understanding of estimating processes and tender buying

* Your role will involve the handover of tender files to the project team

* You will be responsible for investigating cost effective and / or alternative solutions

Requirements:

* You should ideally be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering

* A minimum of 2 years Utility Estimating experience for a main contractor

* Good knowledge of Estimating Processes and Tender Buying

* You should possess excellent I.T skills in Microsoft Office Packages

* This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to £50k + package
