An excellent opportunity has become available within a leading HVAC business, who have partnered with the team at NET Recruit in their search for a Sales Engineer to join their Equipment Sales team, operating across the London area. The organisation has decades of experience within their sector, enabling them to lead the market and build the business across the globe. Within the next few years the business has exceptional growth plans, as they are looking expand many of their core teams across multiple locations.

The position will be intergrated into the equipment team, looking after heat pumps and chillers and other such HVAC equipment. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an ambitious technical sales individual looking to progress their career forwards, to meet and exceed targets and gain valuable knowledge and experience of the manufacturing industry from within a leading and highly successful business.

Your Roles and Responsibilities
While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Creating and working to a developed sales plan which will include the management of leads, sales meetings and the preparation of detailed financial proposals
  • Proactively seeking out opportunities with new and existing customers for new business including both product and service lines
  • Participating in key initiatives for growth including the acquisition and retention of customers and communication of value propositions
  • Being responsible for reporting on KPIs and forecasting for bookings, revenue, conversion rates and future pipeline
  • Initiate and maintain key relationships with clientele to facilitate business opportunities and ensure ongoing satisfaction
  • Establishing positive working relationships with internal local and national teams in the business to best deliver a positive customer experience
  • Honing your knowledge relating to the products, ensuring you are able to be a sufficient point of contact and are able to sell the benefits of using the company's offerings in the heat pump and chiller range

What you will need to Apply:

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will need to have a few years of previous experience in technical sales and HVAC equipment sales, preferably at least 3 years, although more would be better. It is highly desired that the candidate will have a technical degree as well. For this role it is vital that the successful candidate have a good understanding of fundamental concepts of heating, ventilating, air conditioning & HVAC systems. It is required that the candidate be a strong communicator both verbally and written, and have good negotiating skills.

This role will require travel across the region and sometimes the country and therefore all applicants MUST possess a driving license.

What you will get in Return:
For the successful candidate, this role is offering a starting salary of up to £55,000, dependent on the level of previous experience and knowledge, to accompany an appealing package including company bonus, likely starting around 20% - 30% and will of course be dependent on performance, and additional strong holiday allowances and alongside other work benefits.
