Academics are currently recruiting an English Teacher to work in long term roles within our local Chester secondary schools starting in ASAP and into the new Academic year.

We are looking for an outstanding and passionate English Teacher to deliver high quality and engaging lessons to pupils across Key stage 3 and Key stage 4.

Due to the high demand we have seen this year for an English Teacher we're anticipating the same level of demand for the 2024/2025 academic year.

As a English Teacher working on supply with us you will need:

  • A proven track record of teaching English across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5.
  • To hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status
  • To be able to teach engaging English lessons using you own initiative whilst having a excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics (cost applied)
