Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative End User Compute (EUC) Lead to join our inclusive and thriving team. This full-time role is based in Manchester and offers a salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience) and excellent benefits.

This role is heavily focused on supporting executive leaders primarily based out of Manchester, thus requiring an exceptional level of interpersonal awareness and professionalism with excellent communication skills.

Working hours for this role will be 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday and is office based.

Our role

Day to day you’ll need to self-manage, be able to forward think and plan to meet logistical challenges in a safe manner, demonstrating flexibility when needed, whilst providing a great customer service. You’ll be confident working independently and comfortable liaising with, and working alongside senior business leaders.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Lead on troubleshooting issues using a sustained analytical and logical approach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd parties and business stakeholders
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on new system implementation projects
  • Manage Build, Images and Remote deployment toolsets.

To apply for this role, you’ll need proven experience in a desktop support or end-user compute support role. You’ll also have the following:

  • Knowledge of current and past Microsoft windows operating systems
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Intune etc.), Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory;

and bring with you your experience of:

  • Remote desktop support tools
  • Desktop / printer configurations
  • Ticket Management toolsets.
