You can make this role your own. You go out and source your own referrals from partner organisations, developing longer term relationships, and then coach and mentor job seekers back into work across various locations in Lewisham and Islington. Typically you will be working with job centres, libraries, children's centres, charities and housing associations to identify job seekers that could benefit from this contract and hot desking in their offices. We asked a member of staff we placed into the team what her thoughts on the role are - she said that the paperwork is challenging. The manager is really supportive. Each day is different (in a good way). And it's fun working across various locations and not being tied to a desk each day. You also get to really make a difference for those that need it most, and with it being a non-mandated voluntary project for job
seekers - it’s really rewarding (much more so than the large mandated contracts).
To apply, you must be an established employment advisor, ideally with some experience of securing referrals. Please apply via this advert. If you would like to speak to someone first before applying, or have applied and have not heard back, please call the office and ask for James (phone number on the Red 5 Solutions website).
This role would suit someone who has worked as an Employment Advisor, Employment Consultant, Job Coach or a Careers Advisor helping job seekers secure employment with a track record of achieving results.
