I am looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to work in the Greenwich area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: Greenwich

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £500 per day, Outside of IR-35

When: ASAP

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded
  • Checking that all relevant documents adequately describe the work to be carried out
  • Supervising work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work Instructions from the project manager
  • Recording the progress of works on record drawings or other suitable means when required
  • Recognising the health and safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensure safe working environments for all
  • Actively supporting the Electrical Engineers to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with Safety Policies
  • Recording all non-conformance and improvement opportunities
  • Understanding f technical MEICA works
  • Control panels and control systems experience

Skills Required:

  • Experience working within the Water industry is essential
  • CITB (SMSTS), SSSTS, and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely
  • First Aid 3 day course
  • Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
  • Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
  • Thames water passport
  • 18th Edition Electrical or equivalent qualification
  • HV and LV experience

Skills Desirable:

  • Ambitious and dynamic personality
  • MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
