Job Title: Ecology Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Dorset (Home based)

We are looking for an Ecology Project Manager to join a leading environmental consultancy specialising in biodiversity assessment, habitat creation and land management. They have a unique space for an Ecologist who will enjoy managing a variety of projects across the conservation sector.

As an Ecology Project Manager you will be reporting to the?Project Lead, you will?manage the?delivery of a diverse range of projects,?including?ecological mitigation, habitat creation and?nature recovery?work. Liaising with key stakeholders at commercial and senior level, you will be responsible for attending client meetings?and be involved in pricing and tendering of new work.??You will also be responsible for day-to-day management of projects?and must be competent & confident in managing all aspects?including?scope, schedule,?budget, risk, quality,?resources,?and commercials.

To be considered for the Ecology Project Manager position, you will need:

• Ecological,?environmental,?or landscaping?project experience
• Educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Membership (or working towards) a professional project management qualification
• Managing project scope and changes, particularly where contracts are managed under formal arrangements i.e., NEC.
• Previously developed and managed all aspects of project and programme engagement from planning, external client relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
• Preparing estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of projects.
• Experience of pricing/ tendering.
