About the Role:
A warm and lively school in the heart of Ealing are looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse to join their team.
You will be working in one of three Reception classes. You will be required to support the class teacher with the daily runnings of the class.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be working with small groups of children within Reception. Here you will be required to support and observe children with the progress they make within the class. Writing, Observation, Reporting and liaising with the schools Special Needs Coordinator will be required.

The setting has a headcount of 30 pupils per class. The child are of mixed ability with a low number of Special Needs children on site.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant will be required to have sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum along with comprehensive knowledge in the 7 areas of the EYFS framework. You should be able to provide a high standard of physical, emotional social and intellectual care for children, give support to other personnel within the setting. You will be looking after children of all ages between 3 and 5-year-olds.
Play is a vital part of EYFS, therefore the school are looking for someone who is pro-active and who can hit the ground running.
Attentiveness and care is paramount in the setting therefore as a Teaching Assistant you will need to be hands on.

Requirements for the Role:
Previous experience of caring for, or working with children ages 3 - 5-year-olds.
Understanding of the Early Learning Goals.
Understanding of the Foundation Stage curriculum

Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£70.00 - 75.00 per day
Your working hours are 08:30 am - 15:30 pm
Regular breaks are provided - Tea and Coffee is provided throughout the day
45-minute lunch break.

You must have recent and a minimum of six months' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
