Location: Greater Manchester

Hours of work:- Monday to Friday 0830 am to 1700 pm

Start Date:- ASAP

GI Group are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based serving the Greater Manchester area. The successful applicants must be willing to commute to Ashton in Makerfield for the initial 4 week training period. After completion of training candidates will be allowed to take the van home and then work out of the Greater Manchester area.

Van Driver Responsibilities include:

* Responsible for Collecting/delivering and installing of beds, mattresses and other healthcare equipment to homes, hospitals and other healthcare providers.
* loading the van & responsible for deliveries & collections
* installation & removal of a large variety of healthcare products (full training provided)

Van Driver Requirements:

* A full and valid Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
* Must have held driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on licence
* Must be physically fit as will be lifting heavy items such as matresses and other items
* We're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly as you will be dealing with vulnerable people.

This is a temporary to permanent position, with progression opportunities within one of the world's leading distributors of healthcare products. During the training period you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
