Domestic Abuse Support & Advocacy Worker

Hooray are proud to be supporting a Specialist Domestic Abuse Organisation for a Support Worker on a temporary basis for 8 weeks.

Duties:

• Monthly purchase of items required in the refuge
• Attend & run supervision sessions
• Take active steps to work within a framework of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
• Work closely with clients to ensure they feel safe and secure within a controlled environment

As a Support and Advocacy Worker you will have:

• Experience working with vulnerable people
• Experience working in a hostel and/residential environment 
• Understanding of and commitment to anti-discriminatory working practices
• Understanding of safeguarding issues

In return, my client is offering a rate of £13.37ph. Please note the working hours are 37 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 9-5.
