Do you have experience working with vulnerable people? Do you have knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse related trauma? Are you committed to the empowerment of women and children affected by domestic abuse?

Hooray are proud to be supporting a Specialist Domestic Abuse Organisation for a Support Worker on a temporary basis for 8 weeks.

Duties:
- Monthly purchase of items required in the refuge
- Attend & run supervision sessions
- Take active steps to work within a framework of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
- Work closely with clients to ensure they feel safe and secure within a controlled environment
As a Support and Advocacy Worker you will have:
- Experience working with vulnerable people
- Experience working in a hostel and/residential environment
- Understanding of and commitment to anti-discriminatory working practices
- Understanding of safeguarding issues
In return, my client is offering a rate of £13.37ph. Please note the working hours are 37 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 9-5.
