Digital Marketing Assistant - Junior SEO Specialist
Location: Godalming, Surrey, 9am - 5:30pm
Salary - £22,000 - £25,000 gross, per annum

Digital Marketing Assistant - About the Role

  • You will be responsible for managing our website and marketplace sales along with SEO and Amazon ad campaigns. Working towards improving our website and landing page conversion rate.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

SEO & Email Marketing:

  • Setup, manage and optimise SEO campaigns.
  • Identify SEO opportunities
  • Conduct SEO site audits
  • Comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities
  • Content auditing, blog ideation, content creation
  • Conduct strong on-page strategies
  • Conduct off-site optimisation strategies and link analysis
  • Create monthly reporting and data analysis
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest development in search, analytics and technologies
  • Manage the landing page and website to install conversion code and tracking pixels
  • Keen willingness to learn, trial and test new SEO-related opportunities
  • Prepare performance analysis report and make recommendations for corrective modifications with a view to ongoing optimisation

Email marketing:

  • Manage and execute email marketing campaigns using Shopify platform
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance email engagement and conversion rates
  • Regularly analyse and report on the performance of email campaigns

Social Media Management:

  • Create compelling content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and others
  • Develop engaging posts that align with the brand image
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages and inquiries

Video Editing:

  • Product and edit engaging videos for marketing purposes
  • Collaborate with the create team to conceptualise and execute video content that resonates with our target audience
  • Stay updated on video trends and incorporate innovative editing techniques

Amazon Ad Campaigns

  • Set up and manage Amazon Ad Campaigns

Website Management:

  • Website management: resolve bugs, manage website loading speed and implement features
  • Support Trustpilot initiatives, log feedback and communicate insights to management

Ad Hoc Marketing support:

  • Assist in various ad hoc marketing activities and project
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company goals
  • Any other help as requested by management

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Proficiency in Shopify and Canva is required (essential)
  • The Digital Marketing Assistant will be proficient in HTML and CSS
  • Strong technical knowledge in web development, content management, UX, CRO, analytics, CRM, and email marketing
  • Experience in Microsoft 360 would be beneficial
  • Experience in email marketing, social media management and digital community engagement
  • Digital marketing or communications qualification, or equivalent
  • Ability to create engaging and relevant content for target audience
  • Previous experience working as part of a team whilst being able to work independently
  • The Digital Marketing Assistant will have strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Thoughtful and meaningful interpersonal communication skills
  • The Digital Marketing Assistant will have strong attention to detail

Interview Process

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Please note: you will need to be open to flexible working, both in location and time, which can sometimes be remotely or out of core working hours. You also need to be open to travelling to film, cover events and visit sites for content as appropriate.

Successful applicant will be required to produce acceptable documents to confirm the right to work in the UK.
