Hours: Friday - Sunday or Saturday - Monday 8.00 - 4.00

Are you an experienced Dietitan?? Do you have evidence-based experience and are looking for flexible working opportunities? Worcestershire Acute is currently providing these opportunities through an exciting placement opportunity Worcester Royal Hospital.

The Trust is delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join their Team. The post holder will work primarily within acute adult inpatient setting and work to improve nutritional support for inpatients.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

    • HCPC Registration
    • Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualifications in Dietetics
    • Post registration clinical dietetic experience in NHS
    • Experienced in all aspects of adult nutrition support, sip feeds , naso-gastric, PEGs, PEJs
    • Ability to train dietetics students to graduate level.

Role Details:

  • Working as an experienced autonomous practitioner, to provide a high standard of patient focused care through specialised assessment.
  • To plan and deliver a high quality service to patients working in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To offer a dietetic skills and expertise to complex in-patients and out-patients.
  • To contribute to the Therapy Clinical Governance agenda to further improve the quality of the service.
  • To engage with patients in treatment planning decisions and to formulate a treatment plan jointly with the patient providing written information where appropriate.
  • To advise and motivate patients, relatives, and carers to make positive lifestyle and dietary changes.
