Your role responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing the management of annual and ad-hoc projects for all schemes on the team. I.e. renewals, pension increases, benefit statements etc.
-Liaising with the Administration Manager and having regular catch up meetings, to discuss appraisals and mentoring staff.
-Identifying any any training needs across the team and assisting to develop the team members.
-Utilising different ways and ideas of improving and innovating quality and service delivery.
-Monitoring accuracy performance and S:As for the team, this includes client performances, activity and taking course of action to ensure targets are met.
-Holding regular team meetings, to ensure the team are all kept up to date, including technical updates in the firm.
-Maintaining a client focused approach and using your ability to develop trusting and credible partnerships.
-Taking part in marketing and new business activities, including tender responses, attending pitches and presenting at site visits
-Assist in the recruitment process, involving interviews
-Providing expert advice solutions to pensions queries and pensions advice
The experience you need:
-IT proficient, particularly in Microsoft Office
-Previous presentational experience as well as the ability to demonstrate numerical aptitude
-Minimum education of A Level or Degree or equivalent.
-Ideally a minimum of three C grades or above at A Level or equivalent
-Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent – minimum grade B
-Experience of current pensions legislation and framework
-Previous pensions administrations experience of Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contributions (DC)
-Sginificant progression with or relevant pensions qualification e.g. APMI/QPA/RPC/DPC
