THE COMPANY

This company large consultancy company is looking to add a solutions architect to their team who is an expert in Databricks to help their clients on Databricks related projects. They are keen on someone who comes from a consultancy background and has experience managing stakeholders.

THE ROLE

• Working alongside data engineering team (engineering & transformation) - onshore, nearshore, offshore delivery centres.
• Align with client-side architectures. Interacting more with IT function but may Head of DataEng, CDOs etc.
• Advise clients on technical design solutions.
• Use case: did strategy, now implementation, end to end architecture, high level design and work for low-level design.
• Client facing - translate business problem to technical problem.
• Deployment of Databricks.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Extensive stakeholder management skills.
• Expert knowledge on Databricks.
• Ideally experience working within a consultancy and the finance sector.
• Streaming and batch based experience.
• Ideally from a data engineering background.
• Deep understanding of AI.
