- Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and proactively addressing issues encountered.
- Representation: Representing the team in data quality-related project meetings, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Data Warehouse Management: Establishing the data warehouse as a trusted and reliable source of business insight.
- Data Quality Assurance: Designing and implementing comprehensive data validation strategies, including profiling, cleansing, and transformation, to address data quality issues.
- Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborating with data engineering teams, conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance data quality practices.
- Data Management Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and understanding of data structures, relational databases, and modelling concepts.
- Data Quality Expertise: Strong grasp of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues effectively.
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT, and familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration and Culture: Experience using collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence, supporting BI development teams, and fostering a culture of teamwork, idea-sharing, and collaboration while embodying the organization's values.
