Role: Data Mapping & Migration Engineer
Pay: £500 OUTSIDE IR35
Location: Remote + 1 day on London per week
Duration: 6 months + extension
This is a great opportunity to join a growing consultancy, loads of great opportunities for work with some brilliant end clients.
Data Mapping & Migration Experience:
- SQL Server experience (at least 5 years - we need them to hit the ground running)
- Source System Analysis and Data Profiling experience (essential - with the ability to perform this in native SQL)
- Ability to prepare and run technical business / client facing discovery / analysis and Q & A sessions
- Understanding of Data Modelling, Source to Target Mapping, building complex SQL queries to extract source data and data quality issues that may arise
- Ability to glean information for mapping from source systems, documents, excel spreadsheets and face to face sessions with the client.
- Experience leading small teams (2 to 3 people) and able to prioritise effort accordingly
- Experience of working in an agile environment preferably using Jira
- Self starter with the ability to look for answers with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Azure Data Factory experience, along with Python and API exposure would be beneficial, as would any Data Warehousing, but not essential.
- A candidate with public sector experience, regulatory environments and / or pharmaceutical knowledge would be preferred
Data Mapping & Migration Engineer Additional skills:
- Good communication & client facing skills are essential
- Experience working in Pharmaceutical environments
- Public Sector experience is desired
