Data Architect - London - £90,000

I am working with a hugely successful, global organisation who are looking to add a Data Architect to their growing London based data team. This organisation have recently implemented a brand new data platform encompassing the full Microsoft Azure Stack including leveraging Databricks in order to deliver on its goal of becoming truly data driven.

In this role you will be responsible for the design and ongoing implementation of the organisations Azure data platform architecture. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to fully understand their data needs. You will also be responsible for establishing data governance policies and procedures across the organisation and take ownership for the entire data platform.

As part of this role, you will also be responsible for some of the following:

• Take ownership for the design and development of the data platform architecture
• Provide guidance to team members of data-related matters
• Work closely with data engineers to establish data pipelines, solutions and infrastructure
• Define and document data frameworks and data standards

This is a salaried role paying up to £90,000 per annum as a base salary depending on experience. This is a hybrid role, where you will work 3 days from the companies central London based office. There is also a company benefits packages which includes -

To be successful in this role you will have.

• Previous experience working as a data architect and taking the lead on projects
• Experience working with the Microsoft Azure stack including databricks and purview
• Strong expertise in data modelling, data integration, data acquistion and database design
• Understanding of Master Data Management processes and data governance
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
