Due to secondment they need 2 months temporary support to their IT Service Desk Team. This is a busy and varied customer focused role including 1st Line IT Service Desk Support and administration support within a busy environment,
Fulfils all IT related Admin requests, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs and OLAs.
Oversees daily related procurement tasks within existing budget constraints whilst operating within procurement policy and processes.
Provide professional and customer focused request fulfilment management services with SLA’s and OLA’s.
Call queue management of requests, maintaining accurate written records of work completed in line with ITIL best practice.
Administer the purchase order and procurement card process for the supply of hardware/software/consumables.
Administer wider fulfilment requirements from the business.
Ensure relevant asset information is recorded and tracked in line with the asset management policy and process within a central asset management database.
Responsible for relevant stock control, forecasting and ensuring sufficient stock to support predicted demand.
Co-ordinate with third party partners to deliver services in line with underpinning contracts.
To be aware of the Group financial policies and to ensure internal procurement processes are adhered to correctly.
Demonstrates a rational and organised approach to work.
Understands and uses appropriate methods (i.e. systems, processes etc.).
Learns new skills and can apply them.
Absorbs and applies technical information.
Is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within agreed deadlines.
Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work.
Produces routine letters, reports and other documents from standard templates.
Performs a range of activities in a variety of structured environments.
Operates within a defined role, but may have some limited autonomy in how tasks are delivered.
Can easily determine when work should be escalated to a higher level
Unfortunately there is no parking at the clients office however parking nearby and excellent transport links.
