Customer Service Advisor

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting to the Technical Customer Service Supervisor, the Technical Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for telephone, email and social media communication with customers looking for technical support.

Will I receive training?

Yes! Our client assess each successful Technical Customer Service Advisor individually and tailor the training to suit their existing skills. You would spend time in their Workshop and Customer Service Department but for how long and doing what will depend very much on your existing skillset.

Who are they looking for?

When recruiting for a Technical Customer Service Advisor they ideally look for candidates who have experience in a mechanical trade but who are equally comfortable working in an office based environment. You will need

  • A good mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written skills
  • Basic computer literacy; experience of in-house computer systems and Microsoft Office applications would be ideal
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative
