Customer Service Advisor - SK6 2SN - Bredbury , Stockport

Full Time Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm, remote weekend cover for emergencies on rotation

£16k to £20k dependant on skills and experience + benefits including health cover, sickness benefit, retail discounts and up to 28 days annual leave plus public holidays

About You

We’re looking for an exceptional, customer focused service advisor with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a positive outlook to join our customer service team to support our existing customers with their technology service needs.

We’re inviting applications from candidates who love solving problems for customers, have a natural aptitude for technology and are committed to 'making it happen' everyday to deliver quality customer service outcomes.

You’ll be liaising with internal and external contacts to find solutions to problems and process orders. You’ll be communicating over the telephone and email and supporting our full range of products and services; business fixed lines, internet, telephone systems and business mobiles.

You’ll be a highly proactive team player, collaborating with those around you to get the job done and always finding new ways to take the effort off our customers. You'll enjoy interacting with people, using your communication skills to build relationships, setting clear expectations and delivering on your promises. Your planning and organisational skills will be essential to help you manage multiple work streams and the flow of priorities.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls / delivering customer service via telephone and email

  • Processing orders, making administrative changes, solving problems

  • Maintaining accurate customer records across all internal systems

  • Continually progressing and developing personal skills and knowledge

  • Following agreed processes and procedures and contributing ideas for continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

  • Business to business customer service in SME business environment

  • Working with technology

  • Computer literate - MS Office Suite

  • Good standard of general education (9 GCSE’s grade A-C or equivalent)

  • Specific support or provisioning knowledge of our products / partners would be a distinct advantage (O2, NEC, Gamma, Zen Internet)
