SALARY
£25,000 - £26,000 + benefits and company bonus (approx. 15%-20%, c£3,500)


LANGUAGES
English. Fluency in any 2nd European language is an advantage but not essential

Our client is a world leading IT company, producing some of the most recognised and exciting technology brands and video gaming accessories.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To work as part of their international customer service and order processing / shipment department, they wish to recruit a Customer Order Team Leader. Your role will be to work with the team manager as team leader on a day-to-day basis in all the order department functions. Your job responsibilities will include the following duties and tasks:

  • Supervise all order processing projects and system improvements.
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Monitor all procedures and systems
  • Liaise with Sales, Warehouse and Finance departments regarding any issues or potential problems
  • Hold team meetings regularly
  • Deal any day-to-day team issues such as team cover, recruitment, conflict resolution etc.
  • Monitor systems to ensure electronic orders from customers are processed properly and in a timely manner
  • Identify any problems and take immediate action to minimise delays in the processing of these orders
  • Handle any shipment discrepancies that arise after an order has been processed by shipping
  • Co-ordinate with other company sites for international drop shipments
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Maintain an open approach and flexibility to day-to-day challenges.
  • Good business acumen.


CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Fluent in English. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage but not essential
  • Team leader / supervisory experience
  • Experience gained within a similar type of role eg Sales Administration, Order Processing, Import/Export administration
  • Highly computer literate, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Experience of managing and improving processes
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks whilst paying attention to detail is essential
  • Able to identify problems quickly
