Customer Insight Analyst
After being named as the UK’s number 1 online retailer of the year Iceland Foods Ltd have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Insight Analyst to join and help to lead the innovative and fast paced eCommerce team.

The aim of the Customer Insight Analyst role is to be the owner of our customer data providing key insight and opportunities for the wider eCommerce team. To support the Head of Analytics by assisting in managing the Analytics team, help drive supplier funding through data and optimise the delivered sales model.

Knowledge and experience
Drive profitable sales growth
• Own the customer database and identify opportunities to increase the customer lifetime value
• Produce and support the CRM strategy
• Supporting supplier funding with relevant data and insight

• Segmentation & Personalisation
• Cross-sales & Recommendations
• Provide and communicate customer insight
Keeping things simple and efficient to reduce costs
• Optimise delivered sales resource
• Drive analytics and data driven thinking to the wider team

Looking after great people
• Team lead / Assist with the management of the Analytics team

Skills Required
Essential
• Data modelling and analytical skills
• A good knowledge of statistical methods and data / web analysis software
• The ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information, based on solid research
• An understanding of SQL (the ability to write basic queries)

Desirable
• Familiarity with Google Analytics (or similar)
• Experience with statistical analysis software (R, Python, SAS or similar)
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar)
• eCommerce experience
• Forecasting experience
