Role Summary

An opportunity to join a dynamic team in an exciting, fast paced industry. The Marketing Data Executive will be responsible for delivering multi-channel campaign data, creating & optimising targeting and segmentation and automation. The successful candidate will be proactive and outgoing individual, fully trained in an advanced campaign management tool (e.g. Adobe Campaign, IBM Watson, Responsys, etc) , delivering relevant data, providing customers with timely messages across PPB products globally. The role also focuses on continually improving the use of data, targeting and segmentation along with development of automated campaigns across multiple digital channels. While the role is primarily marketing data focused, the team will have exposure to all marketing technology as part of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the data/targeting element of multi-channel customer marketing campaigns based on specific customer segmentation, campaign or behavioural changes

  • Work closely with the Data Manager on the team to ensure timely delivery and upload of data for all campaigns

  • Work to deliver automated and triggered campaign programmes for various customer segments and life stages.

  • Continuously optimise the execution of campaigns through working with the Analysis team

  • Proactive monitor daily feeds, tool performance and campaign effectiveness, defining enhancements where necessary

  • Ensuring monitoring of operational CRM systems and issues resolutions where necessary. Escalating issues with development team’s where necessary

  • Understanding data structures and anomalies

  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory and best practice suppression's are used

  • Build and lead a Campaign team to ensure effective end-to- end operational delivery of CRM

programs across email, SMS, push and web messaging

  • Assist with the implementation of segmentation models enabling the delivery of more targeted CRM

campaigns

  • Establish best practices for exceptional email deliverability across multiple IPs and resolve

any delivery issues and deliverability across SMS and push.

  • Monitor workflow activity to proactively identify problems, and troubleshoot issues when required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in a mathematical, programming or analytical environment at degree level or in the workplace

  • Educated to degree level

  • Competent in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience in SQL is essential

  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and programmes is essential

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Excellent time management – able to deal with multiple tasks or problems at the same time and execute to a high standard

  • Excellent at working under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Understand the database architecture and set up ETL and data-flows

  • Governance of the Campaign Management platform: Monitoring, cleaning and optimization of system performance. Workflow optimizations, data formatting and clean ups, bad addresses exclusion, topology rules, throughput monitoring, IP reputation protection, import alerts etc.

  • Understanding of, and practical experience working with email, SMS, web messaging and

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Adobe Campaign knowledge a bonus

  • While SQL is essential, exposure to any other programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, XML) will be seen as a positive indicator
