Underwriting credit applications, you'll ensure all meet the company's lending policy, are high quality and meet output and service level agreements.

So you'll need to understand and apply Asset Finance credit policy, assess and recommend proposals, and liaise with colleagues and brokers to structure deals.

Credit Managers in this Risk department play a key role in ensuring they balance their growth with robust risk management and controls, supported by effective governance, policies and procedures.

Whether working in Compliance; Operational Risk; Enterprise Risk; Credit Risk; Financial Crime; Retail or Business Finance Risk, everyone helps to implement and embed a risk management ethos and culture that ensures their customers are treated fairly whilst supporting their business model and strategic priorities.

The challenges presented by their risk appetite, while still remaining agile, responsive to opportunity and change, offers all the scope you need to build a diverse and dynamic career.

Profile

With experience in a similarly complex and dynamic risk management environment, you'll have knowledge of the Asset Finance sector and a pro-active approach to delivering solutions.

You'll also ideally be of degree calibre in a relevant financial discipline, have credit management skills and knowledge of associated finance sectors.

A strong working knowledge of accounts and Microsoft Office skills are essential.
