Cover Supervisor

The Tradewind Recruitment team in Cheshire West & Chester are seeking Cover Supervisors to help support our local secondary schools.

What do we expect from a Cover Supervisor?

• Supervision of whole classes in the absence of a teacher
• Deliver lessons across a range of subjects following the plans left by the class teacher
• Keeping the children on task for the work they have been set and ensure it is completed
• Maintaining a purposeful learning environment in the classroom
• Provision of in class support and assisting if students have any questions
• Working with small groups of students or individually on a one-to-one basis.
• To support students in and outside of the classroom

To be considered for this role, we will need -

• Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
• Full Qualified Teaching Status in the UK with QTS
