Corporate Reporting Accountant

Our client, a global company based in central london, require an interim accountant to join their team on an initial 5-6 month contract within their corporate reporting team. The role will report into senior directors within the business providing a unique insight into the running of a global listed company. The responsibilities will be include but not be limited to:

* Perform high level balance sheet reconciliations
* Look at corporate overheads for all departments and ensure all overhead reports are accurate
* Reviews month end close performed by 2 accountants - ensure all reporting accuracy
* Assist with the long term forecasting process for head office function
* Review quarterly reporting packs including P&L and provide commentary where necessary
* Review of all compliance statistics
* Assist with review of taxable benefits (P11d work)
* Assist with clearing of backlog of work - e.g. clearing last couple of months intercompany balance invoices
* Helping out with small consolidations for half year end and be a key point of contact for auditors.
* Assist with preparation of Audit pack
* Look back at previous months accounts and ensure accuracy

The ideal candidate will:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous corporate reporting experience
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders across the business
