We are recruiting for a fantastic Contracts Manager / Estimator opportunity, working for our award-winning, Banbury-based construction client.

The Role

The business are recruiting due to continued company growth. The purpose of the Contracts Manager / Estimator will be to set up and run industrial and commercial contracts UK-wide. Responsible for all aspects of contracts, from inquiry to completion, delivering continued growth. The role will also offer continued opportunities to grow and progress your career

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review customer enquiries
  • Client meetings, developing specifications
  • Obtaining costings and quotations from sub contractors
  • Produce tenders
  • Procurement of materials and labour
  • Produce health & safety files
  • Run and manage contracts with support of management
  • Reporting on projects through regular meetings
  • Project budget control

Skills & Experience

  • Background from the construction sector
  • Proven track record of working and adhering to the specific requirements of sub-contract agreements
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Highly customer-focused, with a consultative approach
  • An in-depth understanding of all recognised forms of contracts
  • Able to thrive under pressure
  • Any Health & Safety qualifications desirable but not essential - with up to date knowledge of health & safety regulations
  • Full clean driving license
