Consumer PR Account Director - Manchester/Hybrid - 12 month contract
My client is a consumer PR powerhouse in the Manchester with a great reputation for producing creative consumer PR campaigns. They are currently looking for a proven PR Account Director to step into the team on a 12 month maternity leave contract, starting ideally May/Jun 24.
You will be responsible for managing a team of account handlers and will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and be capable of making a positive impact and contribution towards the achievements of the consultancy’s commercial and corporate goals.
You will handle a range of clients, with support from account managers and executives, working to financial targets set by the company.
Clients within the consultancy cover food & drink, retail, lifestyle, hospitality, FMCG and tourism.
As an ambassador for the consultancy candidates should possess a detailed knowledge of the media, marketplace, trends, competitor activity, and business in general.
Your planning and organisational skills should be of the highest standard, as well as the ability to work under the constant stresses and strains created by working in a fast paced and demanding field.
Presentation and business development skills should be of the highest order and you should bring creativity and a solutions-led approach to your role.
You should be able to liaise with the client at a senior level, having earned respect as a seasoned professional who is in charge of their account on a day-to-day basis.

- Excellent media relation contacts
