The Company:
ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, a thriving construction firm who are looking for a Construction Contracts Manager to join the team in Leicester.
The successful candidate for this exciting Construction Project Manager role will be process driven looking for ways to make everything more streamlined and efficient, while keeping the customer at the heart of the delivery process

Role & Responsibilities of the Construction Contracts Manager:

  • Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of operations.
  • Ensure all projects are fully managed by staff, updated, and progressing to time and within budget.
  • Pre planning all new projects from when the contract has been signed. Create a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines.
  • Plan work and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Overseeing of projects, from start through to completion and report directly to the Directors.
  • Coordinate activities that impact operational decisions and business requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
  • Communicate and manage all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met.
  • Enforce company standards to sub-contractors.
  • Deal with sub-contractors and suppliers to solve and clear any issue related to delays.
  • Liaise with customers, architects and engineers on all aspects of construction projects.
  • Constantly monitor the expenditure on, material, labour and finishing’s, in conjunction with the Management team to keep the budget in check.
  • Prepare sites to comply with the brands health & safety standards.


About You as the Construction Contracts Manager:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience running projects/contracts within a construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site teams.
  • Drivers licence essential.
  • Commercially aware and can recognise opportunities.
  • Excellent computer literacy and experience with a variety of systems and databases.
  • High level of attention to detail with superb organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship building skills & a proactive approach to customers and work.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Collaborative Team Working.
  • Driven and ambitious attitude.
