Do you want to be part of a fantastic team? Can we help you develop your palliative care skills? Do you want a new challenging but rewarding job? We are an employer who will invest in your development.

We are now recruiting to our Community service, based at the Hospice in Abbey Wood. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care, advice and support to patients with life limiting illness, their families, and also to professionals working with the residents of Greenwich and Bexley in all care settings.

We are looking for registered nurses, both those with at least two years’ experience who are keen to develop further, and for individuals with prior palliative care experience. You need to have good communication skills and be keen to study in this specialist area. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, as well as integrating successfully into the team.

You must be a car driver/owner.

All applicants need to be available for duties at weekends and for the overnight on-call advisory service on a rota basis.

The Hospice is committed to the development and education of all its staff, so there are excellent opportunities for professional development. We have educational links with local higher education institutions and we also offer clinical supervision.

If you think this could be you, please get in touch to find out more!

Membership of the NHS pension scheme is available for existing members.
