Commissioning Manager - Offshore Wind Farm. EU
As Commissioning Manager, you will define the strategy & systems involved needed to commission and implement an entire new offshore wind farm. Responsible for the leadership, management, execution/ performance and overall success of the commissioning phase throughout offshore projects.
Long term contract based in EU: any of UK, France, Belgium, Denmark or Netherlands.
Please note: Essential to have Offshore Wind Farm Commissioning Manager experience & Engineering Degree

Overall responsibility for planning, organising, managing, coordination and documenting the commissioning of major new European wind farm.
Successfully meet and exceed key objectives in the areas of safety & quality.
Constantly maintain team motivation, engagement, alignment and focus on achieving a highly effective team that is focused on continual improvements to gain the best results.
Provide input to changes & improvements to the project plan in accordance with contract.
Communicate with all members of the project team including project management, the client, sub- contractors and service business.
Ensure that organisation, job descriptions, procedures and templates are documented in due time before start of the commissioning work.
Responsible for operation during the commissioning process until transfer to Operations.
Ensure that progress of commissioning works is recorded and reported.
Holds the final approval authority for commissioning.
Ensure proactive management, good coordination and communication between all stakeholders and parties and that the cooperation works effectively.
Ensure that lessons learnt are implemented.
Throughout the entire commissioning phase, you shall maintain progress of all tasks and shall report to Directors providing project reviews and updates in order to bring the commissioning phases to a safe and successful completion.
The Commissioning Manager ensures that all WTGs are completed and ready to enter the testing phase and subsequently ready for handover.
