An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Team Leader to work for this successful and long established insurance brokerage in South Yorkshire. You will be responsible for the day to day functioning of a commercial insurance section, ensuring that workloads are correctly distributed, correct procedures are followed by all members of the section and targets and deadlines are met. You will act as a referral point for team members handling all queries that may arise. You will participate in staff appraisals and recruitment interviews and will be responsible for the accurate completion of documentation in line with branch and company practice and standards.
Applicants applying for this vacancy must have demonstrable commercial insurance experience at a responsible level or in depth knowledge of commercial processes and procedures. Operational experience and technical underwriting skills are essential and project management and people management are desirable. You must have strong leadership skills, ability to lead by example, statistical analysis skills, self-motivation, achievement orientation and excellent communication and presentation skills. You must be qualified at Dip CII level or equivalent.
