Location: Bristol

Salary: £25,000 - £31,000 + Overtime

The Company:

We are working with an independent insurance broker in the Bristol area who is looking to add a Commercial Junior Underwriter to their team!

They are a close-knit family-run insurance broker that offers a wealth of progression and development opportunities.

The Role:

Join this dynamic team in this multifaceted position where you'll take charge of Administrative Duties and ensure compliance.

Your responsibilities will include gaining expertise in our scheme products, underwriting risks, overseeing renewals, and facilitating quotes and new risk binding.

We offer comprehensive training through on-the-job mentoring, collaboration with colleagues, participation in external insurance courses, and CII learning opportunities—all fully supported and funded.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within Commercial Insurance
• Strong communication, time management and IT skills
• Experience of working on Open GI
• Cert CII Qualified or working toward qualification is a must, as development towards DIP qualified will be provided
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
