About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Packaging Division as a Commercial Finance Business Partner, co-ordinating and supporting the commercial planning process and commercial excellence within our UK North Cluster, incorporating six manufacturing sites. This is a key role within the cluster that will contribute to the ongoing commercial development of the business.

As our Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the cluster's Sales Director, providing support and challenge through analysis and insight, to influence commercial decisions. You will need to understand, challenge and communicate to the business on areas where we can create value and improve performance, providing insight on key drivers around volume, revenue and margin performance, driving action at a UK and cluster level.

We want you to manage the commercial planning process, collaborating with other business partners to develop consistent demand forecasts that identify new business opportunities, volume growth opportunities and customer risks, helping to develop the S&OP process. You will work closely with the UK Commercial Finance Business Partner to deliver a Commercial Excellence programme that provides the business with the tools required to develop greater insight into product and customer profitability and drive value. You will also champion the drive to reduce working capital, develop the governance structure for pricing analysis and trackers, and coordinate our tender activity across the cluster.

The position will have direct reports, so you need to be someone that can inspire and develop a team and be someone with the gravitas to operate as a key member of the Cluster Finance and SMI leadership teams.
