A new opportunity has come to market for a Commercial Combined Underwriter to join one of our insurer clients to be part of their Manchester-based team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and hard-working Commercial Combined Underwriter who enjoys working as part of team, to support the business in achieving its financial goals.

As Commercial Combined Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting policies on a case-by-case basis within agreed authority limits. You will also need to be a good team member and able to develop solid relationships with colleagues and brokers alike.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in and a strong approach to underwriting Motor Trade Combined risks.
  • A good technical understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
  • Strong trading skills to develop broker accounts and achieve profitable growth.
  • An excellent team player and strong customer centric approach, working collaboratively to deliver a first-class service.
  • Will be extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills.
