Commercial Account Handler

An independent insurance brokerage based in the Stourbridge area on the lookout for an ambitious individual eager progress in their insurance career as a Commercial Account Handler.

In this role, you'll be working closely with our seasoned Managing Director (MD), who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from their tenure at a top 5 Global insurance brokerage. While you'll initially dive into a role rich in administrative tasks, the beauty of this opportunity lies in its potential for development, allowing you to carve a path that aligns with your aspirations.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the MD, particularly in the creation and dispatch of mailers derived from Excel Spreadsheets to potential clients approaching their renewals. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in managing existing clients' Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs), renewals, as well as crafting engaging proposals and presentations for new business opportunities. If that's not exciting enough, there's also the chance to accompany the MD on client visits, broadening your exposure to the industry.

Our ideal candidate is well-versed in the intricacies of commercial SME policies, boasting a minimum of 2 years' experience in the realm of commercial insurance. A solid technical understanding of associated risks is key.
