About us

IPS Group began as Insurance Personnel Selection in 1969 providing a professional recruitment service to the London insurance market. Over the years we have grown and expanded into new geographies and business areas including financial services, actuaries, IT & change, loss adjusting, pensions and legal recruitment (through our Anakin Seal division).

We deal with all levels of recruitment from junior staff to executive appointments for permanent, contract and temporary positions. In addition we have a specialist executive recruitment division which handles assignments on a retained basis for management and senior level staff.

The vast majority of IPS Group’s recruitment consultants have worked in the sectors in which they now specialise and, in a number of cases, have been with IPS Group for over 20 years. Hiring specialists with experience in their sector means that our clients and candidates have the advantage of working with a recruitment consultant who fully understands the requirements and the demands of different roles.

IPS Group is independently owned by its Director’s and staff. This means that we are less focussed on profit and filling jobs at any cost and more on providing industry leading recruitment services for both organisations and job seekers.
