  • Location: Bolton
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary: £13.39-£15 per hour with earning potential up to £34k per annum
  • Shift and Schedule: 39 hours per week (7:45-4:45 Mon-Thu / 7:45-12:30 Fri)
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner who is proficient in programming, setting, and operating a Proturn Lathe. The ideal candidate will have experience with XYZ Proturn software, although training can be provided. This role requires the ability to read both metric and imperial engineering drawings and use a range of measuring equipment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Programming, setting, and operating a Proturn Lathe.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings in metric and imperial units.
  • Using various measuring equipment to ensure precision.
  • Assisting with various tasks around the works as needed.
  • Manual turning experience would be beneficial.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with CNC turning, specifically with Proturn Lathes preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in using a range of measuring equipment.
  • Manual turning experience is advantageous.
  • Flexible and cooperative attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
