Cloud Architect require for an established organisation based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will have a high level of expertise in public and on-premise cloud environments. Focusing on managing and optimizing cloud solutions that support our client's business objectives. You will have hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and VMware, in depth knowledge of hybrid clouds familiarity with on-premises open-source cloud solutions e.g. OpenStack.

General responsibilities: -

• Work with Project leads to deliver final functional and non-functional requirements for the Hybrid Cloud.
• Undergo Market Engagement to research companies and solutions
• Create high-level solution designs Hybrid Cloud and integration with the network, management and infrastructure platforms.
• Building proof-of-concept solutions for testing
• Low Level Design for Hybrid cloud solutions
• Build Hybrid cloud at Node sites including the management domain and services required in the public or on-premise environments.

Skills, background and experience required: -

• Experience as an Architect designing and implementing scalable, reliable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and VMware
• Develop & manage hybrid cloud environments ensuring seamless integration between cloud-based and on-premises resources
• Experience with OpenStack for on-premise cloud solutions
• Ability to apply DevOps principles including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications ensuring deployment, scaling and management of application containers.
• Experience designing microservice-based architectures ensuring application modularity, scalability and maintainability.
• Deploy cloud solutions tailored to telecommunication needs
• Develop detailed low-level design (LLD) documents to guide the implementation phase
