Clinical Psychologist, Adult Autism Service
Options Adult Autism Services (North), require a permanent and qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary clinical team within our specialist service for adults with autism, Asperger’s syndrome, learning disabilities and complex needs. Salary £30,000 p.a. - £40,000 p.a (Band 7). All 4 sites are within close proximity of Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary clinical teams. Embedded within the service you will work collaboratively with all the Options team to promote the quality of life, wellbeing and best interests of the individuals we support. You will undertake all aspects of Clinical Psychology duties, including assessment, formulation & intervention and will provide consultation, advice, information and training to staff enhancing their understanding and practice and support the meaningful gathering and analysis of outcome measures.
The following skills and experience are essential:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent ) as accredited by the BPS
Relevant experience of working as a clinical psychologist
Experience and skills in clinical psychology assessment and therapeutic work
Experience of working with the specific client group with recognised mental health disorders
Developed knowledge of lifespan developmental psychology, models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology and one or more distinct psychological therapies.
