Client Account Manager (North West)


Location: North West Region, Head office near Coventry - visit once every couple of weeks.

Required: Driving license, Assessor/IQA, Apprenticeship industry exp, Relationship management, Technical knowledge with E-Portfolio software, Organised.

Salary: £30K + £3K car allowance + £10K bonus

This company are looking for a qualified Assessor/IQA with experience using various Apprentice E-portfolio software, such as; Smart Assessor, Learning Assistant, Yeti, One File etc. They want someone who is familiar with apprenticeships. You’ll know the concerns and difficulties that business and institutions face when taking on apprentices. You’ll use your knowledge of the industry to overcome such concerns through your understanding of the benefits and pros of applying E-Portfolio software to manage apprenticeships.

You’ll be managing the 40+ accounts spread across the NE, building and maintaining relationships, and potentially finding new solutions to offer to your customer base. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for making sure your customers are happy with the services and products they’ve bought. You’ll also provide training to end users of the software, to new customers and current, as the systems are improved and developed over time.

Some key responsibilities for the role:

  • Experience as an Assessor and IQA in the Apprenticeship sector.
  • IT experience and computer skills including familiarity with Word and Excel.
  • Deliver group training to Users, Assessor and IQAs.
  • Respond and complete client actions in a timely manner to keep client satisfaction levels high.
  • Managing your diary and customer visits.
  • Secure renewal revenue from existing clients through great customer service.
  • Identify and upsell additional licenses and opportunities within existing clients.

This isn’t a cold-calling sales role - the company prides itself on its reputation in the market and, with an established client base, you won’t need to hunt for new customers. However, you will need to be hugely proactive, very organised and motivated to succeed; you’ll manage your own diary and time, you will have a lot of autonomy to operate the best way for you. The manager of the team wants someone with guts who isn’t afraid to motivate themselves and work hard.

To be considered you must possess a driving licence and be willing to travel and meet customers face to face regularly as part of your role.
