Class 1 Port Shunter

TLP Recruitment are preparing for a huge influx in HGV shunting work in the next coming weeks. We are currently working closely with a local container company and are preparing for an inevitable busy period to kickstart the year which, will guarantee HGV drivers with plenty of shunting work.

We would love to hear from HGV drivers who are keen on working ad-hoc day shifts Monday-Sunday. As a 24-hour agency, we aim to work around you!

Offer

• Weekly pay £13ph days minimum of 10 hours!
• Minimum of 10 hours pay - usually 12-hour shifts (you will be paid for every working hour)
• 45 min breaks deducted
• 6am-6pm (between 10 & 12 hour shifts)
• SHUNTING - container exp ideal (DP World card is a must) - MUST BE ABLE TO REVERSE SAFELY AND COMPETENTLY!
• Daily/weekly shifts available
• Flexibility to suit you
• Ongoing support from a dedicated team of workers at TLP

Requirements

• Class 1 licence - no CPC and Digi card required
• At least 3 months with an HGV licence
• DP world card (new one 2024)
• If doing containers, experience must be minimum of 3 months
• Good at communicating in English
• No more than 6 points on your licence for minor driving as DVLA checks carried out
• Basic Physical Fitness
