Class 1 Drivers

The Recruitment Co are seeking a highly motivated Class 1 driver to join our team

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Trunking Driver to join our clients team. As a Class 1 Trunking Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring that they are delivered safely and on time.

Responsibilities include

• Transporting goods and materials to various destinations
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised truck
• Ensuring proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional truck driver
• Clean driving record ( max 6 points sp30 )
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of current road safety regulations and industry best practices

PAY

£14.50 - £16.25
