CIB Intelligence officer

Are you a good Administrator who has experience in research/analytical roles and looking for your next challenge? This is an opportunity to join the force on a temporary assignement for at least 6 months with a possibility to extend afterwards.

This role is based in Kempston, office hours, 37hrs a week.

Main duties:
Supporting the force in achieving its objectives by researching and evaluating all information systems to identify and link all intelligence information relating to individual(s) ensuring it is prioritised on the basis of risk presented. Providing fairness and equality to all whilst ensuring professional standards are maintained. 
Main Responsibilities:
+Receive, evaluate, link, risk assess and disseminate to appropriate places / people all Intelligence
+Research and develop Intelligence and assist the decision making of the lead responsible officer.
+Where required, verbally brief  managers on sensitive Intelligence on behalf of specific Force assets.
+Carry out real time Operational Intelligence support duties.
+Carry out the requirements of the force in matters of liaison with other departments, forces and agencies/partners.
+Represent the department and deliver intelligence briefings to tactical daily meetings.
+Carry out any other administrative duties that are required to assist the department in meeting its obligations in relation to the secure handling of intelligence, or meet operational demand.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:
A good standard of written and verbal communication for correspondence.
Able to speak to people face to face and over the telephone clearly and concisely.
Minimum of 12 months experience in a related research / analytical role.
Ability to display a logical, clear thinking and decisive approach whilst assessing information.
Working knowledge of computerised database systems.
Proven decision making skills.
Good teamworking skills.
High level of integrity and discretion.
Competent ICT skills are essential
