A Golf Club located in Leicestershire is currently recruiting for a Chef Manager role
A golf club that offers its members basic, fresh food is seeking a Chef Manager to take control of the kitchen operation which includes managing the Commis Chef who will be working with you. The role will require you to prepare home cooked meals for a basic menu as well as occasionally catering for members functions/ parties. As Chef Manager you will average 40-50 hours per week depending on the business with shifts mainly being day shifts covering 9am to 6pm although it is important that you are flexible as there will be the occasional evenings which you need to work. As Chef Manager you will be responsible for the kitchen management including ordering, stock management, hygiene regulations, rota and training of the Commis Chef.
All chefs applying to this role should have been working as a Sous Chef/ Head Chef or Chef Manager in their most recent roles where you were responsible for running the kitchen. This would be an ideal role for a chef seeking a role where you can create simple, fresh food whilst working good hours in the kitchen.
