Centre Manager

A unique opportunity has arisen for a proven Centre Manager to work for a global leading name in health care.

As a Centre Manager you will be instrumental in the day to day operations of a state of the art centre which profitably delivers products and services to provide an exemplary customer experience. You will oversee commercial and business needs, handle daily business issues, manage and maintain client contracts, and recognize business opportunities.

This role is corporate and commercially focussed and will require you to work strategically to maintain current client accounts and significantly impact the growth of the centre.

What you will be responsible for:

  • To lead and manage commercial and business needs of the Health Centre, overseeing and maintaining client contracts and business relationships

  • To seek opportunities to maximise the business by owning the local marketing plan, raising the centre’s profile in the local community and use the expertise within Marketing and Sales to convert leads into new business

  • To be the operational lead with key corporate companies and to support the Area Manager with new business and service lines developments, client relations and tenders

  • Assist in resolving any contractual and commercial problems

  • Working with contract/sales and marketing managers

  • Identifying areas that are not in keeping with regulation practices

  • Offering direction and instruction to their team

  • Reviewing, scrutinizing, and developing operational process flows

  • Ensuring that the financial aspects of the business are regularly assessed for any adverse impact and take action as required

  • Risk assessment

  • Ensuring that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations; reflecting them accurately

  • Managing daily operations

Key skills required:

  • Previous experience of the health or leisure sector and extremely passionate about the field

  • Previous experience of working in a heavily customer centric environment

  • Proven experience working in a management role

  • Confident in managing financial data / budget

  • Commercially astute and can demonstrate business growth in past roles

  • Confident presenting to a number of key stakeholders

  • Highly professional

  • Ability to work to tight business critical deadlines
